THE OCEANANA FAMILY RESORT IS NORTH CAROLINA'S
PREMIERE OCEANFRONT FAMILY RESORT
AND THE ONLY OCEANFRONT FAMILY RESORT
IN ATLANTIC BEACH.

Call 252-726-4111 for Reservations.
Our family playground is vehicle free, child friendly, and safe. Come visit
our private beach with our beach boys
who set up your free umbrellas and free chairs and free
lounges for you, our pool with its built-in
kiddie pool, and our
huge oceanfront playground. Relax in or
out of the sun on or under our oceanfront
patio, lounges, and sun shelter.
We offer a free tropical breakfast
during the summer season. You can choose from hard boiled eggs,
fruits, cereal, oatmeal, doughnuts and cinnamon buns,
cheese, regular milk, chocolate milk, several different juices, and
delicious coffee--each cup instantly brewed individually. We have
high chairs for small children.
Enjoy the family atmosphere as you watch your
children at play or
play with them. Take your
family on leisurely beach walks and show
interesting sights along the shore to your children and
grandchildren.
Observe beautiful sunrises and sunsets over
the Atlantic Ocean. AnnetteMartin, who has been coming here with her family every year since she was born,
painted a seascape
here when she was in highschool.
If you like to fish, watch others fish, or just like to walk out
over the ocean with your children, the Oceanana
Fishing Pier (under separate management) is on our grounds.
We celebrate Easter with our Easter
party, which the children love--especially if they find the
golden egg and win the prize! Our 4th of July celebration
includes cupcakes and punch in the morning and fireworks at night.
Every Wednesday and Saturday afternoon we put on our famous watermelon parties.
We are truly a one-stop family resort. There are
nearby places to eat: simply
walk across the street
to Amos Mosquito's Swampside Restaurant for dinner or have a
sandwich and fries or bacon, eggs, and grits breakfast at the
fishing pier grill.
If our children's playground, child toys, swimming pool, sundecks,
free lounges, free barbeque grills, free charcoal and lighter
fluid, the sun, looking at the ocean, swimming
and playing in the ocean and surf, and
walking and playing on the beach aren't enough to keep
your family entertained, there are other
nearby things to do and see--such things and places as the most popular state park in North Carolina,
Fort Macon State Park, the very intersting and very old Beaufort Historical District
and the recently remodeled (at a cost of $10,000,000) North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores and several nearby golf courses.
If you want to have a good time, read a book,
catch a few rays, catch a few Z's,
be together with family, be
together with friends, be together with someone,
listen to your favorite tunes, or just hang
out--Oceanana is the vacation spot for you.
Some of our guests like to wave at the
camera, while others prefer
to hide from it and some just like to be cute for it. In
any case, it's all done in good fun in
a safe, family-oriented atmosphere at the oceanfront Oceanana
Resort in Atlantic Beach, NC.
In the spring and fall especially, church groups hold retreats here.
People have met their spouses here. Couples get married here. Newlyweds honeymoon here.

Bus parking available.
We have devoted all of the oceanfront portion of our property to our private beach, patio, sun shelter, lawn (all with complimentary lounges, chairs, umbrellas, picnic tables and chairs, and benches), our pool area (with complimentary lounges, chairs, and umbrellas), our breakfast patio, one of our cookout areas (with complimentary grills, charcoal, lighter fluid, cooking utensils, paper plates and napkins, as well as plastic eating utensils), and our huge oceanfront children's playground. Our buildings are situated perpendicular to the shoreline. Consequently, many of our rooms afford angled views of the Atlantic Ocean, but only a few directly face the ocean.
We close for the season on November 11.
Call for reservations.
